The CIF hydration test for Lowell wrestlers will be Saturday, Nov. 6, 9:00 AM at SOTA. Please meet in the top-side parking lot (off O’Shaugnessy) by 8:30 AM.
You can download all the necessary forms and informational sheets here.
These forms need to be completed, signed, and ready for next Saturday’s hydration assessment. This will determine who is actually on the team and who is not. This hydration test must be passed in order to wrestle this season. This is what you need to do to pass:
1. Drink, literally, 10 glasses of water a day – two when you wake up, two at reg, two at lunch, two before practice, and two after dinner, at least. Bring a water bottle to school and refill it often. If your urine is not clear, you need to drink more. You have a week to totally hydrate yourself. DO NOT drink caffeine or drinks with too much sugar. This will screw up your test. Water and decaffeinated tea is alright. Please download the documents for more information.
2. It costs $10 per wrestler. Please get the money to me asap. If you can’t; let me know, and we’ll work out a deal. Remember, this test MUST be completed.
3. Our time slot this Saturday is at 9am. be there at 8:30am. you must not be late. This is very important. if you need a ride, let me know now.
Contact me if you have questions.
P.S. Practice will be held immediately after the assessment. Bring your running shoes to the test. We will practice until 1230-100pm
