In its first section meet of the season the Lowell varsity wrestling team won decisively over San Francisco International (SFI) by a score of 63-24. Lowell racked up the score with five pins (four of them in the first period) and a host of forfeits by SFI.

120 lbs: sophomore Kelvin Mai won by fall (1st period)
126 lbs: junior Lorenzo Pesino won by decision 9-8
132 lbs: senior Emilio Wise won by forfeit

145 lbs: lost by forfeit
152 lbs: senior Taylor Takao won by fall (2nd period)
160 lbs: sophomore Rubin Girling won by fall (1st period)
170 lbs: senior Mohammed Suleman lost by fall (1st period)
182 lbs: lost by forfeit
195 lbs: sophomore Derek Yi won by fall (1st period)
220 lbs: Rostyslav Tolochko won by fall (1st period)
285 lbs: double forfeit
